Rabbi Jeremy Schneider, a proud Texas native, has dedicated his life to spiritual leadership, Jewish education, and interfaith dialogue. Raised in Houston's vibrant Jewish community, his lifelong connection to Judaism began at Congregation Beth Israel, where his family instilled in him a deep commitment to faith, community, and service.

Rabbi Schneider earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development from the University of Texas at Austin before pursuing rabbinic studies at the Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR). There, he received a Master of Arts in Hebrew Letters and a Master of Arts in Jewish Education. His rabbinic thesis, Jewish-Christian Relations: From Tolerance to Pluralism to Partnership, written under the guidance of Rabbi Reuven Firestone, Ph.D., reflected his enduring passion for interfaith understanding. He also completed advanced training in Synagogue Management, Pre-Marital and Marital Counseling, and 800 hours of Clinical Pastoral Education at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles and St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston.

Rabbi Schneider began his rabbinic career at Temple Shalom in Dallas, serving as Assistant and later Associate Rabbi from 2006 to 2011. Since 2011, he has served as Senior Rabbi of Temple Kol Ami, where he holds a lifetime contract. He also serves as President of the Greater Phoenix Board of Rabbis and is a member of the Arizona Governor's Council on Jewish American Affairs.

A passionate educator, Rabbi Schneider has devoted his career to inspiring learners of every age, from early childhood through adulthood. He is a strong supporter of Jewish youth engagement through organizations such as NFTY and BBYO and has led numerous teen trips to Israel. In recognition of his outstanding commitment to Jewish education, he was awarded the designation of Reform Jewish Educator (RJE) in 2019.

Interfaith dialogue and social justice have been defining themes throughout Rabbi Schneider's career. In 2008, he was one of only six Americans selected by the U.S. Department of State for an interfaith study tour of Egypt and Syria. He received the Citizen Diplomat – Peace Quilt Award in 2009 for his grassroots efforts to promote peace and understanding. He has served as a keynote speaker at the Islamic Society of North America's annual convention and has participated in international peace initiatives in Abu Dhabi and Rabat as part of the American Peace Caravan. His ongoing work continues to build bridges among Jewish, Christian, and Muslim communities while advocating for justice, compassion, and mutual respect.

Rabbi Schneider is the proud father of four children: Ezra, Micah, Naomi, and Sarah.
